Here is the Winter 2020 Supplement for Bradley, Deeks, & Goldsmith, Foreign Relations Law: Cases and Materials (7th ed. 2020). These materials cover, among other things, sanctions imposed by the Trump administration against officials of the International Criminal Court; efforts by Congress to regulate presidential withdrawal from certain treaties; lawsuits brought against China relating to the spread of COVID-19; recent lower court decisions concerning “sanctuary jurisdictions”; the Trump administration’s targeted killing of an Iranian general, Qassem Soleimani; and the Supreme Court’s disallowance of a damages suit against a U.S. official for a cross-border shooting in Hernandez v. Mesa. It also notes some places where the incoming Biden administration may seek to reverse actions taken by the Trump administration.
