Livestream: House Foreign Affairs Hearings on U.S.-Saudi Arabia Nuclear Cooperation and China's Foreign Influence Operations

The House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa is holding a hearing on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. on the “Implications of a U.S.-Saudi Arabia Nuclear Cooperation Agreement for the Middle East.” The subcommittee will hear testimony from the following witnesses:

  • Henry Sokolski, executive director of the Nonproliferation Policy Education Center (Prepared Testimony)
  • Sharon Squassoni, research professor of the practice of international affairs at George Washington University's Elliot School of International Affairs (Prepared Testimony)
  • William Tobey, senior fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs (Prepared Testimony)

The House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific is holding a hearing on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. on "U.S. Responses to China's Foreign Influence Operations." The subcommittee will hear testimonu from the following witnesses: 

  • Shanthi Kalathil, director of the International Forum for Democratic Studies at the National Endowment for Democracy (Prepared Testimony)
  • Aynne Kokas, assistant professor of media studies at the University of Virginia (Prepared Testimony)
  • Petter Mattis, fellow in the China Program at the Jamestown Foundation (Prepared Testimony)
