At this week's Al Nashiri military commission motions hearing, we're going to try something new. The blow-by-blow coverage we have been doing in the past has gotten a little bit overwhelming, both to produce and apparently---at least for some readers--to consume. So here's what we're going to do: On our Events Coverage page, we will be giving virtually live updates---short pieces describing what's going on in the hearing. We will append links to those pieces to this post, which will remain at the top of the blog's main page all day. It will serve as a kind of table of contents to the live blogging. In addition, we will post, as time permits, longer analysis pieces to the main page, that will attempt to break through to higher ground. The goal is to serve both those people who want detailed time-sensitive coverage and those who want analysis from the 30,000 foot level. The hearing starts in 15 minutes. Stay tuned:
