On Monday, the U.S. attorney for the southern district of New York filed a 13-count superseding indictment against Joshua Schulte in connection with the unauthorized disclosure of classified information. The Washington Post reports that Schulte is believed to have leaked a trove of CIA hacking tools to WikiLeaks in what became known as the “Vault7” disclosure. Schulte was arrested in August 2017 for possession of child pornography.
