World leaders have woken up to the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) over the past year. Billions of dollars in governmental funding have been announced, dozens of hearings have been held, and nearly 20 national plans have been adopted.
Remco Zwetsloot is a doctoral student in political science at Yale University, a research fellow at Georgetown University, and a research affiliate at the Center for the Governance of AI at the Future of Humanity Institute (University of Oxford). His work focuses on the national and international security dimensions of AI.
