Matthias Schulze is a researcher at the security division of the German Institute for International and Security Affairs–SWP, where he is the co-coordinator of the cyber-research cluster. His research focuses on the dark side of digitization, namely, the strategic use of cyber capabilities in international relations, cyber conflicts, cyber espionage, information operations and cybercrime.

Quantifying Cyber Conflict: Introducing the European Repository on Cyber Incidents

Statistical data on cyber conflict is lacking. A new dataset by a European research initiative called EuRepoC tries to solve this problem by launching a dashboard to visualize more than 1,400 cyber incidents.
