At first glance, a partnership grouping together Egypt, Iraq, and Jordan appears rather strange. But the new partnership potentially heralds a far more ambitious project to bring together the countries of the Levant more broadly.
Katherine Harvey teaches at Georgetown University’s Center for Security Studies. She is also on the Board of Advisors at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and holds a PhD in Middle Eastern Studies from King's College London.
