Senate Foreign Relations Committee Releases Minority Report on Trump's Foreign Policy

Senator Bob Menendez, ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, released a report yesterday titled, “The Cost of Trump’s Foreign Policy: Damage and Consequences for U.S. and Global Security.” The 74-page report—researched by democratic committee staffers for more than a year—is broken into four chapters, ending with findings and recommendations. New Lawsuit Filed Against Saudi Crown Prince for Khashoggi Murder

Hatice Cengiz, the fiancée of the late-journalist Jamal Khashoggi, and Democracy for the Arab World Now (DAWN) have jointly filed a lawsuit against several Saudi Arabian government officials—including Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman—in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Plaintiffs filed the suit under the Torture Victim Protection Act (TVPA) and the Alien Tort Statue (ATS).
