On Sunday, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit temporarily blocked a subpoena from an Atlanta grand jury demanding that Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) testify about his role in an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia. Graham had appealed to the 11th Circuit after U.S. District Judge Leigh Martin May on Aug. 15 denied his bid to avoid testifying before a grand jury in Georgia. The 11th Circuit’s two-page order will send the case back to Judge May to consider whether Graham “is entitled to a partial quashal or modification of the subpoena to appear before the special purpose grand jury based on any protections afforded by the Speech or Debate Clause” of the Constitution.

You can read the order here or below.
