Mr. Rosenzweig formerly served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy in the Department of Homeland Security. He is a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Homeland Security Studies and Analysis Institute. The news of President Obama’s plans to normalize relations with Cuba took firmer shape over the weekend. The Wall Street Journal tells us that the president’s plan faces strong opposition in Congress, led by Senator Marco Rubio.
