Delay of Game: 24-Hour Continuance in the 9/11 Case

So reports Carol Rosenberg from the Miami Herald.

Apparently–and, as the Washington Post reports, for technical reasons–the train crash in Ellicott City, Maryland somehow lead to a break in the internet connection between Guantanamo and the Office of the Chief Defense Counsel.  That disruption precluded defense attorneys from completing their preparations for tomorrow’s hearing.  Thus they sought, and received, a one-day, emergency continuance.  As things stand now, the hearing will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.

The question, is what, if any, effect the postponement will have on the court schedule.  Does it mean an additional court day, held either over the weekend or next week; or simply a compressed Thursday through Friday, Sunday through Tuesday hearing schedule?  We hope to have more details shortly.
