Fun Lawfare Readership Tidbit

Here’s a fun—and strangely evocative—factoid about Lawfare’s readership.

Over this site’s nearly two years of existence, our readership has been heavily concentrated in Washington DC. Seventeen percent of our visits, according to Google Analytics, have come from Washington—more than twice the percentage that has come from New York, which places second in these illustrious rankings. So here’s the question: What city places third in Lawfare readership with more than 4 percent of readers?

No, Jack, it’s not Cambridge—which comes in fourth with just under 1.5 percent. And sorry, Bobby, Austin is seventh–down past Chicago and Los Angeles.

Third place in Lawfare readership goes to—drumroll, please—Arlington, Va. What’s more, our Arlington readers view more pages per visit than either our New York or Washington readers. And a higher percentage of them are repeat readers than for either New York or DC.

Hmmm. I just wonder what building might account for this remarkable performance.
